I have a question, can 2 different lumberjack buildings collect off the same Forest? same with fish and wheat and iron and stone?

Yes, they can!
And - (later in the game) - they can also use the same boost buildings.

resources & pearls
When gathering from a forest resource tile do extra lumberjacks either gather less or take longer? If no is there a limit on how many lumberjacks may gather from 1 forest tile?
Can't get the 'pearl' icon anywhere to 'light up' so pearls can be purchased for US players. When will this be working?

Hello,
the amount of lumberjacks don't influence the time, it's just improve your production, an there is no limit on how many lumberjacks can gather from 1 forest.
The same thing is with sawmills and lumberjacks.
The Pearl Icon is on in the bottom bar, the third icon from left.
There you can activate Premiumfeatures and purchase Pearls.

I am tempted to break off a piece of land which would be more useful placed in another spot. Does the land that is removed go back into my land-for-placement pool, or is it lost forever? Thanks much for help.

If it is like on all other old worlds and it should be, it will go back into the pool.

at the moment, I have two harbors, but one is till lvl1, and I can't send scouts to attack a kraken while the previous group is returning home.
How can I send more than one troop at a time? Like while one is comming back, another can should attack, or start looting. Which upgrades would I need?

Harbours give fleet amount points, fleet headquartes give a percentage bonus to fleet amount points. When reaching certain amount of points you can send more fleets at the same time.
The needed amount of points can be found in the harbour ingame fag as well as the fleet size tables and so on

Is there any way to change my island's name? When I created my profile, didn't know that it was going to be so addictive, and now, I really wish I could have a better name for my island.

As far as I know, deleting and recreating an island is the only way to change names. Developers intended to make the island name something unique that identifies you which means, noone else will be able to use that name even if the island is deleted. So furthermore you can't change your name either.

Every level of land military producing facilities as for example barracks give +50 to troop capacity.
So yes building another level 1 barrack will give you an additonal of +50 space.

i have seen many towns that say xyz1 and xyz2 ...the xyz is the same...I am guessing players with more than one account...on same server..
what do we do then? They get advantage over us...
on which world which world did you see this islands?
