Blacksmith downgrade option

Did not know the rules of the blacksmith at the beginning of my game and did some wrong upgrades in my blacksmith. Is there any way to downgrade the upgrade I did?

Sorry to tell you, but there is no way to downgrade upgrades.

It was also once suggested in the german forum, but was rejected.
Upgrades you did, can never be undone. ;(
